Great Clips® Provides Free Haircuts to Veterans and Military Service Members
MINNEAPOLIS (October 20, 2026) – Great Clips®, the world's largest salon brand, is honoring and celebrating veterans and active military service members with free haircuts as part of its annual "Thank a Veteran" program. On Veterans Day (November 11), veterans and active military service members can visit any of the 4,400+ Great Clips salons in the United States to receive a free haircut or a card to be used during a future visit.
Customers who aren't military personnel can also participate in the “Thank a Veteran” program by visiting a Great Clips salon in the United States on Veterans Day and receiving a free haircut card to give to a veteran or active military service member as a symbol of their appreciation. These cards are redeemable through December 4, 2026 at Great Clips salons in the United States.
Since the program's inception in 2012, Great Clips salons have provided more than 2.8 million free haircuts – valued at over $43 million.

Great Clips extends its commitment to veterans beyond Veterans Day through its support of Operation: Healing Heroes Foundation. The organization began as a television series dedicated to sharing the stories of veterans across generations with people throughout the U.S. and Canada. Since its inception in 2015, Operation Healing Heroes Foundation in conjunction with its sister nonprofit - Take a Vet Fishing - has treated over 1,500 veterans to outdoor experiences free of charge. After witnessing the transformative and healing effects that outdoor experiences could have on post-traumatic stress, the organization expanded in 2019 to provide financial support to veterans seeking treatment for PTSD.
