While not all of us have served in the military ourselves, most of us know a service member who we would like to thank. With Great Clips’ annual promotion, we give everyone a way to thank an active or veteran military service member on Veterans Day. And we give members of the military more than a one-day event to redeem their free haircut card.

How It Works

Veterans & Active Military Members

Visit a U.S. Great Clips salon on Nov. 11 and receive either a free haircut that day or a free haircut card to use at a later date.

Non-Military Customers

Purchase a service at a U.S. Great Clips salon on Veterans Day and get a free haircut card to give to a military service member you know.

Haircut cards are redeemable until Dec. 11 2020.

At participating U.S. salons, while supplies last.

Check with your local Canadian Great Clips salon for Remembrance Day participation.

Pay it forward on social

Through Nov. 6, Great Clips customers have another opportunity to pay forward their thanks by giving a military service member a chance to receive free haircuts for a year at any Great Clips salon plus a $350 gift card.

How do I nominate a military service member?

You can nominate an active or retired service member you know by:

1) Posting to your personal Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account with the full name of the retired or active military service member nominee, the reason they are being nominated, the nominee’s branch of service, the campaign hashtag #GREATful4Vets and tagging us at @GreatClips. The post must be public and in your feed in order to qualify.

2) Posting the same information mentioned above as a comment in one of our Veterans Day social media posts on the Great Clips Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts.

We will randomly select two nominated individuals each week starting on Oct. 23 through Nov. 6 to be celebrated and recognized across our social media channels for their dedication, commitment and service.
