Great Clips salons now open in all 50 U.S. states

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (September 29, 2020) — Customers across the U.S. now have a Great Clips salon open in their state with the opening of new salon locations in Maine, Louisiana and Vermont this year.

“Extending our presence to all 50 states was a central goal of ours for 2020,” said Steve Hockett, CEO of Great Clips, Inc. “While it’s been a year of uncertainty and significant changes, we’re excited that we’ve reached our 50-state goal by working together with our franchisees, and that we continue to expand our market presence across the U.S. and Canada.”

Growth throughout the Great Clips system during the COVID-19 pandemic has in part been enhanced by the brand’s technology innovations, including ReadyNext™ text alerts, which help customers make the most of their wait time. Launched in June as part of the Online Check-In process, the text alerts notify customers once their estimated wait time reaches 15 minutes, so they can head to the salon for their service.

The Great Clips Online Check-In app has now been downloaded over 14 million times. To find a local Great Clips salon, download the Great Clips app or visit
