The Minnesota Star Tribune names Great Clips, Inc. a 2026 Top Workplace

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (JUNE 15, 2026) — Great Clips, Inc. has been named one of the Top 200 Workplaces in Minnesota by the Minnesota Star Tribune. The company has been ranked among the top midsized workplaces consistently for the last four years.

Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, Great Clips, Inc. is the franchisor of Great Clips®, the world’s largest salon brand. Corporate staff include home office staff in Minnesota and field staff throughout the United States and Canada.

“Great Clips, Inc. is honored to once again be recognized by the Minnesota Star Tribune as a top workplace in Minnesota,” said Rob Goggins, President and CEO of Great Clips, Inc. “Our employees bring our values to life every day, creating a great workplace while supporting Great Clips franchisees, customers, and the communities we serve. This award reflects their hard work and dedication, and we’re proud to be recognized alongside so many outstanding Minnesota employers.”

Produced by the same team that compiles the 35-year-old Star Tribune 100 report of the best-performing public companies in Minnesota, Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction.

The rankings in the Minnesota Star Tribune Top 200 Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.

To qualify for as a Minnesota Star Tribune Top Workplace, a company must have more than 50 employees in Minnesota. Over 10,527 companies were invited to participate. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses.

Star Tribune CEO and Publisher Steve Grove said, “The companies in the Minnesota Star Tribune Top 200 Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
