Yvonne Mercer has been an instrumental leader at Great Clips Inc. for nearly 30 years, providing direct support and guidance to franchisees and oversight to the operations field staff. In June 2022, Yvonne was promoted to Chief Operations Officer. While maintaining strong systems and processes to provide a quality experience for customers in each location, she also helps ensure individual franchisees develop their businesses to build profitable salons.

Before joining Great Clips Inc., Yvonne held various positions in public relations and broadcast media. She then joined Great Clips Inc. in 1994 as a former licensed cosmetologist and was the first Operations field staff employee hired from outside of the Great Clips system. She served as a regional field consultant, manager and Director of Operations, successfully opening and supporting several Ohio markets.

Yvonne holds a bachelor's degree in telecommunications from Ohio University. In her free time, she enjoys reading and cooking. She's a football fan, rooting for The Ohio State University, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings. As a recent empty nester, Yvonne is looking forward to spending time with her husband of more than 25 years, learning how to fish.
