Prior to be becoming one of NASCAR's brightest stars in the Sprint Cup Series, Kasey Kahne made a name for himself driving the red and black No. 38 Great Clips entry under the Akins Motorsports / Stringer Motorsports banner. This season, in flashback-like fashion, Kahne will step back into the driver's seat of the No. 38 Great Clips Toyota, the car in which he essentially started his NASCAR career and piloted for two years (2003-2005). Kahne will drive the No. 38 Camry for Braun Racing in eight races throughout the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series, sharing the seat with Jason Leffler, who has driven the car for the last four seasons.
Great Clips Racing driver Jason Leffler is coming off arguably his best Nationwide Series season to date, finishing fourth overall in the championship point standings in 2009 and is looking forward to his 5th season driving the #38.
With Great Clips now being the longest running primary sponsor in the Nationwide series, we are looking to expand our racing presence. In 2010, Great Clips will run a limited schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with up-an-coming talent, Brad Sweet driving the #90 Great Clips Toyota Tundra. Also watch for Great Clips to be featured as primary sponsor of Kasey Kahne Racing's World of Outlaws entry.
The Great Clips show car plans to make over 100 appearances in 2010, creating a multitude of opportunities for NASCAR fans and novices
alike to interact with the Great Clips brand. To see if the show car is coming to your area - go to
