Great Clips Racing pulls out all the stops for 2010

With the 2009 Great Clips Racing season in the rear-view mirror, the 2010 season is filled with promise and opportunity.

Great Clips Racing driver Jason Leffler is coming off arguably his best Nationwide Series season to date, finishing fourth overall in the points standings. Jason recorded 20 Top-10 finishes, including a stretch of 11 Top-10 finishes in a row from April 11-June 27. He also netted eight Top-5 finishes, including two second-place finishes and three third-place. He went on to finish fourth overall in the championship point standings.

In addition to the return of Jason Leffler for his fifth year representing Great Clips, we welcome back Kasey Kahne to the family!  In flashback-like fashion, Kasey will step back into the driver's seat of the No. 38 Great Clips car for eight races this season.  It was with Kasey that Great Clips scored its first victory as a primary sponsor in the Nationwide Series, in 2003 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The combination of Jason and Kasey representing Great Clips both on and off the track, is sure to add even more value to our sponsorship in 2010.  Kasey will take the green-flag first at Daytona International Raceway on February 13th, where Great Clips will officially become the longest-running sponsor in the Nationwide Series.

Another facet to our racing program included a limited schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with up-an-coming talent, Brad Sweet driving the #90 Great Clips Toyota Tundra.  Also watch for Great Clips to be featured as primary sponsor of Kasey Kahne Racing's World of Outlaws entry, driven by Cody Darrah.

The Great Clips show car plans to make over 100 appearances in 2010, creating a multitude of opportunities for NASCAR fans and novices alike to interact with the Great Clips brand.
