Great Clips Salons Raise Money for Children’s Miracle Network

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 21, 2010—During October, participating Great Clips salons are selling Children’s Miracle Network balloons for $1 each. Consumers receive $2 off a future haircut for each balloon purchased. Great Clips has a strong belief in giving back to the communities where we live and operate, raising nearly $1.5 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals since the inception of the miracle balloon campaign.

“The generosity of all the people associated with Great Clips, either as an owner, employee or customer help make this campaign a success,” said Terri Miller, vice president of marketing and communications.

“We are thrilled that Great Clips is taking the initiative to help raise money for Children’s Miracle Network,” said George Mathis, Account Director. “Great Clips has always been a very charitable organization centered on the needs of their local community, and we are happy to be a beneficiary of their generosity.”
